Comprehensive lipid panel update relevant to the lipid panel:
| Marker | Baseline | 6 Months | 12 Months | Reference |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Total Cholesterol | 249 | 204 | 194 | <200 |
| LDL | 154 | 129 | 114 | <100 |
| HDL | 47 | 48 | 61 | >40 |
| Triglycerides | 269 | 184 | 104 | <150 |
| LDL-P | 1489 | 1239 | 889 | <1000 |
The triglyceride drop is the most impressive. My cardiologist reduced my statin dose based on these results.

Saving this. It is the first explanation that did not require me to already understand it.

I read this differently from Dr.NutriCornell, on substance rather than tone. I would drop the "get everything" instinct further than this thread does. Every extra test is another chance at a false positive, and incidental findings have their own cost in scans, biopsies and worry.

Before/after bloodwork compilation for the lipid panel — everything in one place for those who want comprehensive data:
| Category | Marker | Before | After 14mo | Change |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Metabolic | A1C | 7.0% | 5.6% | ⬇️ 1.2% |
| Metabolic | Fasting Glucose | 125 | 91 | ⬇️ 25 |
| Lipids | LDL | 148 | 92 | ⬇️ 50 |
| Lipids | Triglycerides | 250 | 115 | ⬇️ 120 |
| Inflammation | hsCRP | 7.5 | 0.8 | ⬇️ 4.0 |
Every single metabolic marker improved. This is why I'm a believer in this therapy.
