Omega-3 index improvement on the lipid panel: often overlooked but my omega-3 index went from 4.3% to 8.8% over 12 months. I supplemented with 2g EPA+DHA daily.
This matters because omega-3s are anti-inflammatory and cardioprotective, complementing the GLP-1 benefits. Target omega-3 index is >8%. Combined with the triglyceride reduction from the medication, my lipid profile is the best it's been in decades.

Thank you — that is the clearest version of this I have read, and I have read a lot of them. Printing the relevant bit and taking it with me.

I would rather people stopped quoting the 24% as if it were a licensed outcome. It is a phase 2 result in a few hundred participants with no cardiovascular endpoint and no long-term safety data, and this board has a habit of treating pipeline numbers as settled.

Comprehensive lipid panel update relevant to the lipid panel:
| Marker | Baseline | 6 Months | 12 Months | Reference |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Total Cholesterol | 254 | 199 | 179 | <200 |
| LDL | 149 | 129 | 99 | <100 |
| HDL | 42 | 49 | 56 | >40 |
| Triglycerides | 234 | 159 | 99 | <150 |
| LDL-P | 1514 | 1164 | 914 | <1000 |
The triglyceride drop is the most impressive. My cardiologist reduced my statin dose based on these results.
