Careful with treating an unchanged LDL-C as a failure. If ApoB and triglycerides both fell, the particle picture improved regardless of what the calculated LDL says.

Before/after bloodwork compilation for the lipid panel — everything in one place for those who want comprehensive data:
| Category | Marker | Before | After 15mo | Change |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Metabolic | A1C | 8.4% | 5.7% | ⬇️ 1.6% |
| Metabolic | Fasting Glucose | 127 | 92 | ⬇️ 37 |
| Lipids | LDL | 175 | 104 | ⬇️ 47 |
| Lipids | Triglycerides | 247 | 117 | ⬇️ 97 |
| Inflammation | hsCRP | 8.5 | 1.0 | ⬇️ 4.0 |
Every single metabolic marker improved. This is why I'm a believer in this therapy.

Advanced lipoprotein testing on the lipid panel — going beyond standard lipid panel:
| Marker | Baseline | Month 8 | Clinical Meaning |
|---|---|---|---|
| LDL-P | 1590 | 990 | Particle count (more precise than LDL-C) |
| Small dense LDL | 60% | 34% | Atherogenic pattern |
| Remnant cholesterol | 34 | 14 | Triglyceride-rich lipoproteins |
| oxLDL | 75 | 38 | Oxidative stress marker |
The shift from small dense to large buoyant LDL is particularly important — it represents a fundamental change in the atherogenic profile.

Did your prescriber agree with that reading, and if not what was their objection?
Closing the loop on my own question.
Update, and it is the boring outcome: nothing was wrong. The measurement I was reading had moved less than its own week-to-week variation, which somebody said upthread and I did not believe.
