Pushing back on Dr.RaviCardio here. The objection nobody has made: this only works if the measurement is doing what we assume it is doing, and that assumption has not been tested here.

Reporting back after another eight months at the same dose. Still losing slowly, no new side effects, and no reason I can find to climb further.

If somebody has the primary source to hand I would rather cite it than paraphrase it.
Found this through search years later and it is still the best discussion of the question, so adding one thing. If you are comparing against somebody else’s result, check that you are comparing the same measurement taken the same way. Most of the apparent contradictions in these threads dissolve at that step.
